This peace is very colourful but at the same time not overpowering. The colours go very well together and are eye-catching .For shading and i guess you could say texture he used lighter and warmer colours however for the sky and the ocean he used cooler tones. The colours are balanced and complimentary colours which makes this piece  look unique and interesting.I think that this is a scene from a pretty and perfect day  since there are not to many warm colours to show that its very sunny  and not to many cool colours to show that it is very cold.

Complementary Colours

Miss i cannot add arrows therefore i will just write the colours:
Red+Green
blue+orange
yellow+purple
spring green+Magenta
teal+Vermillion
Purple+Amber
