shaded shoe

what went well?i had a-lot of fun shading in the shoe and i am happy about the way it turned out.
even better if? It would have been even better if i maybe used lighter shading because most of the areas I shaded in are very dark. this is not the best i could do and i would love to revisit this and try it again.Im not the best at drawing objects i prefer drawing things that move such as animals and humans.

what did I do ? I first started of with mapping the areas that are darker than the others.then i took my pencil and started colouring the shoe in with the side of the pencil to avoid scratchy lines.Next i took my blending tools(tortillions) and i blended the graphite.
